Summer Day Camps
Our Staff:
The YMCA recognizes the tremendous impact a positive day camping experience has on the development of a child. Our camp staff are carefully selected based on their leadership skills, day camping experience and genuine interest in working with children. All staff are trained in YMCA Healthy Child Development Principles and First Aid and CPR. Our counsellors are trained to constantly maintain a safe environment while providing many challenging, exciting and fun activities.
2007 Survey Results - #1 in Canada
The YMCA is pleased to announce that our summer daycamps ranked #1 Nationally among Canadian YMCA daycamps in 2007! Drawing from our past results we've made improvements to the areas that YMCA daycamp families find most important. We recognize that it is important for your child to feel included in the camp community, have counselors that are warm and friendly, have your child feel safe, and have a fun daycamp! Please join us this year at our award winning summer daycamps!
