YMCA 5K Run/Walk Event

The 5K run/walk is an opportunity for family and friends to participate. It is designed as an accurate, fast course for competitive runners and also a fun loop for family, company and community members of all ages and abilities. Everyone is invited to participate and encouraged to collect pledges for the YMCA of Peterborough youth programs.

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female runners overall and in each age category under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 plus).
There will be no duplication of individual awards
Team 5K Workplace Challenge
This is your chance to take on other companies and businesses to win great prizes. Get a team of 5 people and sign up for the 5K run/walk portion of our event and take part in our new team challenge event. There will be a variety of prizes in a variety of categories – is your team the highest fundraiser or do you have the fastest cumulated time. Every team that gathers pledges (minimum $100 per team) has a chance to win some great prizes. How does breakfast delivered to your office sound, or gift certificates for lunches and other fun prizes?
Help one of Peterborough’s largest charities at the same time you are having fun, being healthy and winning great prizes. Who could ask for more?
