SAFETY AND SUPPORT

MARKINGS: First mile and every kilometer marked.

GATORADE & WATER STATIONS: A total of 8 stations for the half marathon. At the 2K, 5K, 7.7K, 9.6K, 11.6K 13.7K, 16K and 19K. Also water will be distributed at the finish line.

HOT SHOWERS: Available at the YMCA. Bring your own towel! A bag check will also be available. We discourage you from bringing valuables to the event.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE: Available at the Start/Finish area from sports physicians and athletic therapists from Total Physiotherapy, as well as volunteers from the St. John’s Ambulance.

CLOSURE: Race course will close at 3:30pm at which time roads will reopen & volunteer support will be limited.

DOGS: For the safety of all runners, dogs are not permitted on the course.

CHAMPIONCHIP must be picked up on Race Day! Everyone will be issued a ChampionChip. Chip owners can use their own and receive a $3.00 discount.
